Majd Kharfan is the Head of Operations Intelligence at Essor, a digitally native CPG platform focused on acquiring and scaling eCommerce brands. In this role, Majd leads forecasting, supply planning, and operations data science, driving transformation through advanced analytics and machine learning. Before Essor’s formation, Majd led Heyday's SIOP process, where he developed in-house planning and data-driven capabilities that automated decision-making in demand and supply planning, allocation, replenishment, and shipping. Prior to his time at Heyday, Majd spent six years at Nike, where he held pivotal roles in operations and retail, spearheading digital transformation initiatives and championing AI in demand planning and retail analytics. With over 15 years of experience, Majd has navigated a wide range of operational functions, from contract manufacturing to procurement and logistics. His career spans multiple countries in the Middle East before relocating to the U.S., adding a global perspective to his expertise. Majd holds a Master’s in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor of Economics from Damascus University.
